New Domain Name!

Beauty Bee’s Adventures has had a little upgrade recently! While the blog is still called Beauty Bee’s Adventures, our web address is now beautybeemakeup.com 🙂 I wanted something short and sweet that would be easy to remember. What do you think of the changes? I was going to and fro between beautybeesmakeup.com and beautybeemakeup.com but thought that dropping the s would be simpler.

There’s only a week left until Winter kicks in, but these last couple of weeks have been super sunny and glorious in Sydney! I don’t mind that winter is on it’s way though, I could do with some hibernation and warm tea 🙂 Hope your having a lovely weekend!

Catch ya next time,

  1. Oh cool…. That’s great. I’ve been wanting to do the same but I’ve been putting it off for a while. You’ve inspired me to get the ball rolling. It always seems harder than it ends up being, don’t you think? 🙂

    • Oh yes definitely! It’s so so easy peasy to do 😉 but double check the spelling of your domain name before purchasing it (obvious and yet I failed at this lol)! I decided on beauty bee makeup instead of beauty bee’s makeup and yet purchased beauty bee’s makeup by accident, so I end ended up getting both LOL

      • Hehe, funny. Im thinking of changing to a complexly different name so I’m a little apprehensive. I think it’s the redirection thing I’m most unsure about, lol. Hopefully i’ll woman up soon and get my shiz sorted 🙂

      • Oh wow, that would be a big change! Well good luck, I’m sure that either way your blog will look/sound great 🙂

I’m thinking about delving into photoshop, but I’m a little unsure about it to. I think I’ll try the free trial first and then see what other options are out there (besides the standard Adobe photoshop for macs) as it seems a little expensive to for a novice like me! Would you have any suggestions for me perhaps? 🙂

  2. Photoshop is fun, a little tricky for a novice and expensive so definitely try the trial version first, to see how you like it. Otherwise I’d recommend Gimp or Picasa (both cross platform) or Pixlr (web based). They’re all free and do most things Photoshop does. Hope that helps 🙂

    • Yes that does help me immensely so thank you! I will look them up over the weekend and have a play around 🙂 I knew there had to be alternatives to photoshop and that’s great that they are free (bonus!) 🙂 My bf’s a software developer but he doesn’t use programs like that so I was a bit stuck on who to ask! xo

      • You’re welcome! Free is good – it means you get to spend your money on other pretty things, lol 🙂 Let me know what you think 🙂 xx
